Just few minutes after my usual status message posting at facebook, comments already appeared. At one of the comments, I felt sad as well as challenged.
Status message: "Whether you like it or not, you will retire. Are you prepared? What would your life be after retirement? Would that be the kind of life you ever dreamed of?"
Comment: "i'm not thinking of that thing...hehe ur still young, enjoy life yel..."
While we grow, there are many options in our lives. Often, we are mostly given two options and we see those options in which one has to be chosen over the other. This was also how I think way back then not until I met my Rich Dads and my thoughts have changed. One of the best things I learned was, "Why would I choose one if I could choose both?" It's like being happy and rich vs. being happy or being rich alone, as well as having time and financial freedom vs. having time without money or vice-versa.
Seeing the way I think now, I can say that I have grown a lot. And realizing my bigger "why" or purpose that will contribute primarily to our fellow Filipinos made me even more determined to achieve a really great and abundant life in the future.
Do you see a great life waiting at the end of what you're doing now?
Remember: The future depends on the NOW.
